lost in thought
wondering

on that highway

to heaven

a fascination with bifurications

dwelling in possibilities

Emily Dickinson, "I dwell in possibility" (#657)

I dwell in Possibility--
A fairer House than Prose--
More numerous of Windows--
Superior--for Doors--
Of Chambers as the Cedars--
Impregnable of Eye--
And for an Everlasting Roof
The Gambrels of the Sky--
Of Visitors--the fairest--
For Occupation--This--
The spreading wide my narrow Hands
To gather Paradise--

life in the open

I found a dead robin in the grass
its rare to see animals dead in the open
as if living is a public affair
and death a private one
being that it was so hot
I thought it had
suffocated from the heat
when I looked closer
i saw the earthworm
around its neck

found

earbuds
in front of a church
need
to listen

kitchen warriors

on the trail -Mimosa

desert quail

in a dream

transplanted

to uncover
the root
of a
cactus
is
violent
&
delicate
process
meaning to
do this
for
years

labor of love

ant mound
bridging
gap in
sidewalk

I search the Wand'ring
Of your cursive Crawl
As eagerly as Readers
Ponder Poet's Scrawl—

For though your Purpose
Be not clearly manifest—
You would not endeavor
Unless Hope express'd—

bridge across forever

dance

daggers

she would have fought
of his fumbling hands
with the daggers
in her eyes

time&space

close my eyes
and look to see as i stick my toe
into inky black
of space
to test its darkness-
and pulled into a vacuum
of the abyss of time
then realize that
this darkness
occurs in
a blink
of an eye
and its all the same
